The latest of flight to be hit by the COVID-19 is the African World Airline destinations to Abuja and Legos, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has issued a directive to ensure there are no further imported cases of the Coronavirus and also gives them the opportunity to deal with the few cases they have at the moment.

Pursuant to the instructions issued by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Africa World Airline will suspend our flight to Lagos and Abuja after 23rdMarch, 2020.
The last flight to both destinations will operate on Monday 23rd March, 2020. AWA will ensure that sufficient seats are available for Ghanaians wishing to return to Accra Prior to the suspension.
Passengers on cancelled flights will receive notification of the cancellation via their original bookings channel, and may either rebook to a future date of seek a refund.
AWA intends to continue operating flights from Accra to Kumasi, Tamale, Takoradi, Wa and Monrovia at this time. Rest assured that if you choose to travel with AWA, you can “Fly safe, fly confident”
